Clean, comfortable and convenient, our romantic escape at this hotel was everything we hoped for. The spacious lounge and well-equipped kitchen-diner were perfect for relaxing and cooking together. We loved the personal touches like the complimentary milk, bottled water, and biscuits that made us feel welcome. The location was fantastic, tucked away in a quiet street, yet right in the center of town. The nearby al fresco cafe was a charming spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or a cup of coffee. The availability of car parking right opposite and the option of using a lockup garage were convenient amenities that we appreciated.
The lack of a toilet on the first floor, which could be an issue for those with mobility challenges. However, we understand the difficulties of adding one without compromising space.

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and at home. The little touches, like the complimentary milk, bottled water, and biscuits, made us feel truly appreciated. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk from the center with plenty of activities nearby. The accommodation itself was beautiful, with comfortable beds and tasteful decor. We especially loved the apple juice and milk waiting for us. it was a wonderful experience.
The parking area, which was off a busy main road and had limited space. On our departure, we encountered a surly builder who trapped our car, causing a bit of a sour note.

The location was perfect, with lots to do within a short walk. The accommodation was fabulous, with comfortable beds and tasteful decor. We felt at home from the start. The host left us apple juice, milk, tea, and coffee, which was a nice touch.
The parking area was on a busy main road and was quite narrow. It was a bit challenging to park and had a one-way in and out.

I booked a two-night stay at The Stables and was immediately impressed by the well-presented property. The decoration and furnishings were of a high standard, giving the place charm and character. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a nice welcome message and pack in the kitchen, which was a lovely touch. The location couldn't have been better, tucked away behind the main street and offering off-road parking. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with nice bedding and towels. The wooden spiral staircase added a unique touch to the upper floor, where I found a beautiful lounge leading to a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table. The lounge was spacious and had two large, comfortable couches and a large screen TV. Becky, the host, was helpful and not intrusive, striking the perfect balance. I would highly recommend staying at The Stables.
